Sri Gold (Sri Golden) Pawpaw
A Susquehanna × Sunflower hybrid selected and named by the grower; the first release from Peaceful Heritage Nursery’s Ultra-Select pawpaw trials.
 
A late-season cultivar (around late September in Kentucky) that is highly productive of medium to quite large fruits (typically 6–12 oz / ~170–340 g) with good flesh-to-seed ratio and light yellow flesh.
 
Texture is soft, custardy, and pleasantly chewy—reminiscent of soft jackfruit or gummy candy. Flavor is excellent: bright, tropical, and well-balanced with caramel notes—neither too strong nor too mild.
 
Shows a slight color break at ripeness and good disease resistance.
