Prince Caspian (Caspian) Pawpaw
A wild selection discovered by Tyler Halvin in northwest Missouri and named after his youngest son.
An ultra-early cultivar prized for large-to-very-large fruits (225–560 g) with exceptionally low seed content and a creamy, melting texture.
Flavor is intensely sweet and clean, with a bright tropical profile of pineapple, banana, and mango, often accompanied by distinctive pink-bubblegum aromatics and no bitterness or off-notes. Highly productive and reliable even in cooler, shorter-season climates.
Compact pyramidal growth habits are common.
