Persimmon Fruit is the sweetest natural fruit you can find in North America. It was prized by natives and wildlife alike. It is still one of the best attractants for wildlife you can have on your farm. Persimmon has a large period where it can drop fruit. It starts as Early as late July and can drop well past December.
Persimmon's generally require both a male and female tree to produce fruit, so be sure to plant multiple trees in the same area to help guarantee you get a female tree.
These seeds were sourced from massive native trees in Tennessee and Kentucky, they have large fruit and an incredible taste. We eat all the persimmons we harvest and would not have seeds from a bad tasting one.

Early Season Native Persimmon Seed
Persimmon Seeds require a cold stratification period to break dormancy and start the seedling growing process. If your seeds arrive before March 1st, you need to place in your fridge until that time to mimic this process.
